RESCUE 15

Rescue Co. 15 is first due piece out of the Unionville Station for all MVA and hazardous calls.  It is the only Heavy Rescue in the Town of Farmington.   It is a 2001 E-One. This unit carries Amkus extrication tools which are run by an on-board Hydraulic PTO driven system.   This truck is able to run four pieces of hydraulic rescue tools at  the same time, and has both a portable gas and electric unit to run additional tools as needed.   Rescue 15 also had an on-board air compressor to run high pressure airbags and other air tools.   On board are also 20 Class B Hazmat suits, and over 100 ft of Hazmat booms and pads.   The Rescue also carries First Aid supplies and a mix of both Ladder and Engine company tools.   The unique feature to this truck is that the rear cab is able to be used as a command post, and carries a variety of reference materials.
