UNIONVILLE STATIONThe Unionville fire station covers roughly the western half of the town of Farmington. It's district runs from the Burlington and Bristol townlines to the west, east to Brickyard Rd, north to the Avon townline and south to Meadow Rd. Its district is a mix of residential, industrial, and commercial properties. Three quarters of Farmington's residents reside in the district. Also unique to the district is the downtown secton of Farmington, which is currently going through a major reconstruction. The apparatus stationed here are Engine Co.'s 2, and 5, Rescue Co. 15 and Medic 16, a BLS fly-car. Also located here are the water rescue trailer and the rescue gator. Engine Co. 5 is a twin to Engine Co. 9, it serves as a engine-tanker on the west side of town. Rescue Co. 15 is the townwide heavy rescue. It carries an assortment of tools, rope resuce, Haz-mat equipment, a full complement of Amkus Rescue tools and other extrication tools. Three Firefighters are assigned here Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm.
